If you currently have an Amex card, from 21 July to 31 August 2020, you can get 15% Fave cashback on all F&B with a minimum spend of S$18 on your American Express® Card. With cashback capped at S$8 per transaction.

Fellow personal finance blogger Shutterwhale blogged about a similar Fave cashback offer by Amex earlier this year in April (you can read it here). In essence, this is a sweeter campaign than the previous one because:

  • The minimum spending to be eligible for this has been reduced from S$40 to S$18
  • Redemptions per card member has increased from 1 to 3

To optimize the cashback from Fave transactions, you should spend an amount of at most S$53.33, because of the S$8 cashback cap per transaction.
